Help:CRS-Remove Containers Returned
The File pull down menu is used to set up and maintain the various files used by the Commercial Records Storage. Following are the functions on this pull-down menu:
Customer File Maintenance® This menu option opens a sub-menu with the following options:
Edit Customer File: This option is used to: Add, change or remove Customers Print various customer listings Add Misc charges and recurring charges to a customer
Change Customer Number: This option is used to change an existing Customer Number to a new Customer Number
Merge Customers: This option is used to add the contents of one Customer to another Customer.
Container File Maintenance® This menu option opens a sub-menu with the following options:
Remove Selected Containers: This option is used to Remove Destroyed or Returned containers by selected Container Numbers.
Remove Containers by Destroy Date: This option is used to: Remove containers which have been destroyed.
Remove Containers by Returned Date: This option is used to
Remove Containers permanently returned to the Customer.
Change Container Control Number: This option is used to: Change the Container Inventory Control Number for an existing container.
Change Container Customer Number: This option is used to Change the Customer Number for an existing container.
Storage Container Type Maintenance This menu option is used to add, change and delete Storage Container Types
Billing Code Table Maintenance® This menu option opens a sub-menu with the following options:
Standard Billing Codes: This option is used to Add, change and remove the Standard Billing Codes Print various listings of the Standard Billing Codes
All Billing Codes: This option is used to Add, change and remove any Billing Codes Print various listings of all of the Billing Codes
Rate Schedule Maintenance This option is used to Add, change and remove Rate Schedules Print various listings of the Rate Schedules
Standard Settings File This option is used to set up various default settings which are used by various program options.
File Redirection File This option is used to edit the file which tells the program the location of the data files. In the IBS system, programs do not have to reside in the same location as the data files.
Re-Index Files The data files should be re-indexed periodically. The TopSpeed file driver which these programs use is self-maintaining. However, it is good to periodically check the structural integrity of your data files. This program option will re-index these files as well as remove any deleted records.
G/L Standard Settings File This option is used to initially establish the Fiscal Year Beginning Month and to close previous posting periods to further input.
G/L Master File Maintenance This option is used to Maintain the G/L Chart of Accounts or Print a Listing of the G/L Chart of Accounts.
Passwords This option is used to edit the Password file. New passwords can be added, existing passwords can have their permissions modified, or existing passwords can be deleted. Any user must have a password before he/she can use this program.
Log On This option enables the user to "log-on" to the Commercial Records Storage program using another password.
Print Setup This option is used to select the Default Printer.
Exit Press this button to exit this module and return to the Main IBS Menu.
