Help:AR1-Standard Reports
The Reports Pull-Down Menu is used to view or print any of the standard reports provided in this module, as described below:
Standard Reports This option is used to view or print the Accounts Receivable in one of the four indexed orders ¾
By A/R Number, By File Number, By Sort-Locator, or By Alternate Key.
Customer Reports This option opens a sub-menu with the following customer report options:
One Customer This option will allow you to print an accounts receivable listing for one specific customer for one or all A/R accounts. You may elect to include Unpaid Invoices Only, All Invoices, or files with no billings for that customer.
Totals Due This option will allow you to print an accounts receivable listing for all customers for one or all A/R accounts. You may elect to include Unpaid Invoices Only or All Invoices (paid & unpaid).
Age Analysis This option will allow you to print an aged accounts receivable listing for all customers for one or all A/R accounts. The aging will be based up the date you specify and the report will include aging categories of 0-30, 31-60, 61-90, 91-120, & Over 120.
Collections Report This option will allow you to print an aged accounts receivable listing to be used primarily for collections purposes. You may select only those files which are over a specified age and this report can be limited by Customer (Bill To) and/or A/R Account.
Open Items Statements This option is used to produce a listing of A/R files which are currently unpaid for each customer and, if desired, it can calculate a finance charge on those items older than a specified age. You can elect to print an Open Items Statement for one specific customer or all customers and you also have the choices to include one or all A/R Accounts and to include one or all Branches.
Average Collection Time This option is used to produce a listing of all customers with billings during a specified range of dates with the total amount collected and the average time between the date billed and the date paid. This report is useful to identify those customers who are not paying in a timely manner.
Revenue Reports This option is used to view or print the various revenue analysis reports which analyzes the revenue data found in the Accounts Receivable History file. This option opens a sub-menu with the following options:
Selected Revenues This option is used to print a report which analyzes the composition of the revenue your company has earned. The report displays the revenue earned by each of the A/R files which meet your selection criteria. You have several different selection criteria for this report including Dates, A/R Account, Bill To (Customer), Account, Sales Agent, Driver, Shipment Source, Shipment Type, Shipment Sub-Type, and Billing Code. Please note that this report shows revenue earned; however, it does not show balances due.
Analysis by Billing Code This option is used to print a report which analyzes the composition of the revenue your company has earned. This report can be sorted by billing code, by files, or by revenue earned (descending order). You have several different selection criteria for this report including Dates, A/R Account, Bill To (Customer), Account, Sales Agent, Driver, Shipment Source, Shipment Type, Shipment Sub-Type, and Billing Code. Please note that this report shows revenue earned; however, it does not show balances due.
Summary Analysis This option is used to print a report which summarizes revenues earned by one of the following criteria: Source/Type/Sub-Type, Bill To (Customer), Account, Sales Agent, Driver, Source only, Type only, or Sub-Type only. It is a great tool for an "apples to apples" comparison of the actual revenue generated by like criteria such as Customer. The results are sorted in descending order with the highest performing listed first. The report also calculates the relative percentage of the total for each line on the report.
Linehaul Reports This option is used to print a report which includes the Discounted or Un-Discounted Linehaul for each A/R file that meets each of your eight selection criteria. You have several different selection criteria for this report including Dates, A/R Account, Bill To (Customer), Account, Sales Agent, Driver, Shipment Source, Shipment Type, and Shipment Sub-Type.
Cut-Off A/R Report This option enables you to print the Accounts Receivable listing as of the selected posting Month/Year. This should correspond to the balance in the Accounts Receivable Control Account in the General Ledger Master file.
G/L Composition Report This option is used to calculate and print the General Ledger composition of the current Accounts Receivable. This is helpful if your company is on a Cash Basis but you still wish to have the benefits of an Accounts Receivable.
All reports are first listed in a window titled Report Preview for easy viewing and rapid access to the information you need. Printed reports can then be generated from the Report Preview window, if needed. For additional information, please refer to Report Preview.
