Tab 4 - Extended File Field Prompts .
The Files file is used to identify the individual files which are in each container. This file has only three fields. However, there are some Customers which require that additional information be kept on each file. This information is totally dependent upon the needs of your Customer and cannot be pre-determined by this program. This screen gives you the ability to configure the additional information which can be captured and stored at the File level to meet your customer's exact needs. There are nine additional fields which you can configure. Three are long text fields (30 characters long), three are short text fields (10 characters long), and three are date fields. This screen enables you to identify the prompts for these fields when they are accessed during the Container and File maintenance.
Long Prompt, Short Prompt, Date Prompt: Enter the various prompts to identify these Additional File fields. An ampersand (&) prior to any character in this prompt will make that letter a Hot Letter (that is, accessible by pressing the Alt Key and that letter).
