Select Driver
Drivers and Sales Agents are maintained in the Commission Agent File in our database. Please note that the Driver and/or Sales Agent does not have to be a commissioned agent in order to be in this file since IBS can track financial information for both commissioned and non-commissioned agents.
The Commission Agent File can be viewed in two different sort orders (By Driver Number or By Driver Name). To select the desired sort order, move your mouse cursor to the appropriate tab at the top of the Select Driver window (By Driver Number or By Driver Name) and left-click your mouse once. This window titled Select Driver allows you to Select an existing driver, Insert a new driver, or Change an existing driver.
At the top of this window is a locator box titled either Agent Number or Sort Locator, depending upon the sort order tab you selected. This locator box may be used to quickly access a specific driver. Type the name/number of the driver you wish to access, press the Tab key, and that driver (or the closest match to the name number you typed) will be highlighted in the list box. NOTE: Your mouse cursor may be located in the list box or in this locator box when you type the name/number.
[ Select ] Press this button to select the highlighted driver.
[ Insert ] Press this button to insert a new driver into the Commission Agent File. This will open a window titled Adding a Driver where you may enter the appropriate information for this new driver. For additional information on how to add a new driver to this file, see Update Commission Agent File.
[ Change ] Press this button to edit information for the highlighted driver. This will open a window titled Changing a Driver where you may edit any of the information for this driver. For additional information on how to edit an existing driver's information, see Update Commission Agent File.
[ Close ] Press this button to close this window and return to the previous window.
[ Help ] Press this button (if available) or the F1 key to view the Help text for this window.
[ Note Pad ] Press this button to view or edit notes for this driver.
