Help:GL1-Analyze Selected Batches
This utility program will analyze the balance of one batch or a group of batches. It reads the General Ledger Detail History file (gl1d04) by batch number and displays the balance of the specified batch or batches. Of course, a batch which is in balance has a balance of $0.00. This utility can indicate if a batch has not posted properly in the general ledger.
Beginning Batch: Enter the beginning batch number you wish to analyze. NOTE: If you wish to analyze only one batch, then the Beginning Batch and the Ending Batch will be the same number.
Ending Batch: Enter the ending batch number you wish to analyze. NOTE: If you wish to analyze only one batch, then the Beginning Batch and the Ending Batch will be the same number.
[ Begin ] Press this button to begin this operation.
[ Cancel ] Press this button to close this window and return to the previous window. NOTE: This button will not be available AFTER the [Begin] button has been pressed.
Records Read: This is an informational field only which displays the total number of records read during this operation. You cannot edit the information in this field.
