Help:GL1-Analyze Batches One Month
This utility program analyzes the balances in the General Ledger Detail History file (GL1D04) for the batches used for the selected Posting Month/Year. Each batch in the Batch Control File can be posted to multiple posting months. The batch itself may be in balance, but the portion posting to one specific Posting Month may not be. This utility can isolate which batches are out of balance for the selected month. It also documents which batches have entries in the selected Posting Month/Year.
Posting Month/Year: Enter the Calendar Posting Month/Year you wish to analyze. Please note that the corresponding Fiscal Month/Year will be displayed to the right of these fields.
[ Begin ] Press this button to begin this analysis operation.
[ Cancel ] Press this button to close this window and return to the previous window. NOTE: This button will not be available after the [Begin] button has been pressed.
Records Read: This is an informational field only which displays the total number of records read during this operation. You cannot edit the information in this field.
