Shipment Management

Screenshot

This window is the Shipment Management window which will identify all of the Active Shipments in the database which either have no Work Tickets assigned to them or have Work Tickets with incomplete spread dates. The Work Tickets will identify which types of work have to be done to this shipment and identifies the spreads of dates within which each service is to be performed. This could be Packing, Hauling, Storage, etc. The Customer Service department is not finished with the Shipment until it has identified what needs to be done to this shipment in order to properly service it.

Once the Work Tickets have been assigned and the dates on which it is requested to be performed have been identified, then the Dispatcher can pick up these shipments and actually make sure that the work is done.
