Help:CRS-Update Location By Number
This activity is used to keep the locations of the containers in the warehouse current. This operation is normally done by the Bar Code Reader program ContLocn. This option is provided for those instances where manual updates are necessary.
Container Number: Enter the Container Control Number of the container to be located. Press the [?] button for a listing of Containers.
Warehouse: Enter the number or letter of the warehouse into which the container has been placed.
Location: Enter the location into which the container has been placed.
[ Record ] Press this button to record this activity. The information will be retained on the screen after pressing this button, but the Locations Recorded field will be incremented by 1. Once the first activity has been recorded, then the [Cancel] button becomes inactive. This session must be posted before this screen can be exited.
[ Post Session ] Press this button to post this session in the various files. It will generate a report of the file containers which have been located during this session.
[ Cancel ] Press this button to cancel this operation. Once the first activity has been recorded, then the [Cancel] button becomes inactive. This session must be posted before this screen can be exited.
