Help:CRS-Change Customer Number
This option is used to change an existing Customer Number to a different Customer Number. Since there are many different files which contain the Customer Number, this option must change all of these different files as well. Consequently, this operation could take some time depending upon the number of containers which are recorded for the Customer.
Current Customer: Enter the number of the Customer whose number you wish to change. Press the [?] button for a listing of the current Customers. The Customer Name will be displayed to the right of this field.
New Customer: Enter the new Customer Number. This must not be currently used. If you wish to merge the above customer's entries with an already existing customer, then use the option Files - Customer File Maintenance - Merge Customers.
[ Begin ] Press this button to start this operation. Once this button has been pressed, the [Cancel] button is no longer operational.
[ Cancel ] Press this button to cancel this operation. Once the [Begin] button has been pressed, this button is no longer operational.
[ OK ] This button will become available when the operation has completed. Press this button to return to the menu.
