Edit Storage Lot Contents
This window enables you to Add, Change or Remove contents items from the Storage Lot. This is used for both containerized items (Storage Vaults) and loose items (Carpets, Sofas, etc.) belonging to this Storage Lot. The Inventory Items tab can be used to attach the various individual items which are stored in each Storage Vault if you wish.
Contents Type: Press (o) Container if this item is a Storage Vault or (o) Other if this is a non-containerized loose item.
Shared: If the Contents Type is Container, then this field is available. Press (o) No if there are not any other Lots stored in this Storage Vault or (o) Yes if this Storage Vault is shared with other Lots. Normally the answer would be No. However, occasionally, some warehouse store multiple small shipments in the same Storage Vault.
Vault/Owner: If the Contents Type is Container, then this field is available. To select the proper Storage Vault, press the [?] button. You can select an existing Storage Vault from this window or add a new one if necessary.
Location: If this is a Storage Vault, then the location from the Storage Vault will be automatically placed in this field when you press [Add] or [Save]. If this is an Other (Loose) item, then you must enter a location. Just type in the location and the computer will match your entry as you type. To add a new location, just type in that location and press the Tab Key.
Description: Enter the description of the Other (Loose) item. Storage vaults do not normally have descriptions.
Inventory Items: This list box displays the current inventory items in the Storage Vault. Press [Insert] to add new items; highlight an item and press [Change] to edit it; or highlight an item and press [Delete] to remove it.
[ Add ] Press this button to record this Contents item in the file.
[ Save ] Press this button to save the changes to this Contents item in the file.
[ Delete ] Press this button to remove the Contents item from the file.
[ Cancel ] Press this button to ignore any changes which were made on this screen.
[ Help ] Press this button (if available) or the F1 key to view the Help text for this window.
