Calculate Current Bank Account Balance
The Balance Pull-Down Menu on the Bank Account Manager Main Menu has only one option which will calculate the balance in the current bank account. When the user opens this Balance menu, a window titled Calculate Current Bank Account Balance will open. Please note that all the fields on this window are informational only; therefore, you cannot edit any of the information on this window.
Balance Last Statement: This is the ending balance per the bank on the last reconciled bank statement.
Outstanding Checks: This is the total of all outstanding checks on this account.
Outstanding Deposits: This is the total of all outstanding deposits on this account.
Outstanding Adjustments: This is the total of all outstanding adjustments on this account.
Current Account Balance: This is the current balance in this bank account. NOTE: This balance should agree with the current YTD balance in the General Ledger Control Account for this bank account.
[ OK ] Press this button to close this window and return to the Bank Account Manager Main Menu.
