Help:DMCommon-Edit VanLine Agency
This screen is used to modify the VanLine Agency information, add a Memo to this agency and maintain the Agency Contacts and Personnel.
VanLine: The VanLine name to which this agency is attached is displayed in this field.
Agency Code: Enter the specific Code that is used by the VanLine to identify this Agency. This is an Alpha-Numeric field and can take up to characters.
[X] Active Check this box to indicate that this is an active Agency. This will make this agency appear on the varioius pick-lists where an Agency Code is required. Un-Check this box to remove this agency from the various pick-lists.
This screen has three tabs of information:
The General tab contains the standard information which is provided by the VanLine about this agency.
NOTE The [Refresh VanLine Agency File] option on the previous screen can update any of the fields on the General tab. This refresh option will NOT update anything on the Memo or Contacts / Personnal Tabs, which are for your company's personal use only.
The Memo tab provides a large text field where you can make your own notes on this agency. This field is not modifiable by the VanLine and is for your company's exclusive use only.
The Contacts / Personnel tab provides a list of the various people at that agency with whom your company will deal with. This also is not modifiable by the VanLine.
[Add] Press this button to save the changes made on this screen and add this record to the file.
[Save] Press this button to save the changes made on this screen.
[Help] Press this button to call the Help Screen.
