A/P Purchase Journal Detail Report

Depending upon the width of the selected report, you may have options to [Print Portrait] and/or [Print Landscape]. If the width of the selected report is 80 characters or less, then you will only have the option to print the report in Portrait Orientation; therefore, the window will have a [Print Portrait] button. If the width of the selected report exceeds 80 characters, then you will have the option to print the report in either Portrait or Landscape Orientation and the window will have [Print Portrait] and [Print Landscape] buttons. Please note that, if you wish to print the report to a printer other than your default printer, then you must use the [Select Printer] button to select the appropriate printer before you press either of the buttons that generate the report. You cannot change the printer after the Report Preview window appears. You can, however, change the printer from the Viewing Text File window which appears when you select either the [Print to File] or Continuous Text File Dump option.

Each print window will include a [Print To File] button. If you wish to send this report to a file, then select the [Print To File] button. Another window titled Select Report File Name will appear. For further information on printing to a file, see Select Report File Name.

NOTE: This Print to File capability currently exists for selected reports and the [Print to File] button will only be active on those reports which have this capability. The [Print to File] button will be dimmed on those reports which do not have this capability. This function exists for those reports that you may need to print on pre-printed or multi-part forms using a dot-matrix printer instead of printing on a laser printer (e.g., continuous-form checks and short invoice forms). This function also exists for selected other reports that include data which you may want to export to a file so such data can then be imported into other software programs such as Excel, Lotus, etc. Please call Technical Support at 1-804-320-2040 if you need this Print to File capability for a report which currently does not have that option. All such requests will be submitted to our programmers.

[ Select Printer ] Press this button to select the printer for this report. You must select the printer before you press either of the buttons which generate the report if you want to print the report to a printer other than your default printer.

[ Print To File ] Press this button (if active) to print this report to a file instead of printing this report to paper. Please note that this [Print to File] option is currently not available on all MoverBiz reports so this button will be dimmed if the selected report does not have this capability. The print to file capability will be added to additional MoverBiz reports in the future based on the needs of our customers. For further information on printing to a file, see Select Report File Name.

[ Print Portrait ] Press this button to generate the report in a Portrait Orientation. See Report Preview for additional information.

[ Print Landscape ] Press this button (if available) to generate the report in a Landscape Orientation. See Report Preview for additional information.

[ Close ] Press this button to close this window and return to the previous window without generating a report.

[ Help ] Press this button (if available) or the F1 key to view the Help text for this window.

IMPORTANT NOTE: You should print all reports to laser printers (laser, deskjet, inkjet, bubblejet). Printing reports on a dot-matrix printer is not recommended because the reports will print much slower than they can be printed on a laser printer. Dot-matrix printers should be used only for printing continuous-feed checks, multi-part invoice forms, or other multi-part forms.
