Help:VM1-Select Asset Type
The Asset Type file is a totally user-definable file. Assets may be classified by different types (e.g., Truck, Trailer, etc.). There is a report in the Vehicle Profitability Manager module which will list assets by type.
This window titled Select Asset Type may be used to Select an existing asset type, Insert a new asset type, Change an existing asset type, or Delete an existing asset type.
[ Select ] Press this button to select the highlighted asset type. NOTE: You may highlight an asset type by left-clicking your mouse once on the asset type or by using the up/down ( ) arrow keys on your keyboard.
[ Insert ] Press this button to open a window titled Adding an Asset Type which will allow you to insert a new asset type into the Asset Type File. For additional information, please see Update Asset Type.
[ Change ] Press this button to open a window titled Changing an Asset Type which will allow you to edit the highlighted asset type in the Asset Type File. For additional information, please see Update Asset Type.
[ Delete ] Press this button to delete the highlighted asset type from the Asset Type File. Another window titled Confirm Delete will open. For additional information, please see Confirm Delete.
[ Close ] Press this button to close this window and return to the previous window.
[ Help ] Press this button (if available) or the F1 key to view the Help text for this window.
