Job Cost Master File Maintenance

This window titled Job Cost Master File Maintenance displays all of the existing jobs. You may elect to view the jobs in one of the following sort orders:

1. By Job Number 2. By Job Name 3. By File Number 4. By Alternate Key

To select the sort order, simply move your mouse cursor to the appropriate tab at the top of this window and left-click your mouse once.

At the top of the window is a locator box labeled as either Job Number, Sort-Locator, File Number, or Alternate Key based upon the sort order tab you have selected. To quickly access a specific job, type the appropriate number/name (Job Number, Sort-Locator, File Number, or Alternate Key) for the job you wish to access and the job number/name you typed, or the closest match to that number/name, will be highlighted in the list box. (NOTE: You can type this job number/name with your cursor positioned in the list box -- the cursor does NOT have to be positioned in the locator box at the top of this window. Also, you can use the backspace key [¬] to clear characters from this locator box if you need to enter another number/name to search for another job.)
