Editing Edit File Redirection

This window titled Change File Redirection enables you change the Data Files Location Path for one specific Data File Group. It is possible to have some files located in different areas for various reasons. This is usually done only after consulting with a computer professional and our Technical Support staff.


File Group: This field displays the selected Data File Group whose path you wish to change. If this is the correct Data File Group, then press the Tab key to move your cursor to the Path Location box.

Path Location: Enter the Drive Letter and full path where the data files for this specific Data File Group are found. (Example: C:\C01_DATA\ )

[ Save ] Press this button to save the newly entered Path Location and return to the File Redirection Maintenance window.

[ Cancel ] Press this button to close this window and return to the File Redirection Maintenance window. NOTE: If you make any changes and then press this [Cancel] button, a window titled Changes will be lost will open which asks "Are you sure you want to cancel?". Press the [Yes] button if you want to cancel, lose any changes, and return to the File Redirection Maintenance window. Press the [No] button to close this window titled Changes will be lost and remain in the Change File Redirection window.
