Help:Standard-Locator
A Locator is a data entry field which is used to rapidly find a specific row in the displayed List Box based on the contents of a specific field.
Function of the Locator Field:
List Box is the active field. If the List Box is currently the active field, it will be highlighted in Yellow. These locator fields use the "Incremental" methodolgy for finding the data. That is, if you type an 'A', it goes to the first instance of 'A' in the left of the active data element. If you then type 'C', it will go the nearest match of "AC' in the left of the active data element., and so on. If a match is not found, it will highlight the entry just below where the entry would have been found if it existed.
The Locator is "active" if the List Box is highlighted in Yellow. All you need to do is to start typing and the locator will work as described above. If the Locator field is highlighted in Yellow,
