The General Ledger Manager enables the user to configure their own financial reports. An infinite variety of reports can be established which include all G/L accounts or only certain G/L accounts. Each account can be configured to print separately or several accounts can be listed on a one-line summary entry. It is your choice to display the General Ledger Account Number as well as the % on the Profit and Loss reports.
There are currently four report types available:
Balance Sheet Chart of Accounts Margin Analysis (P/L) Profit and Loss
This window titled Financial Report Configuration Maintenance will display a list of all existing configured financial reports. This window displays the Report Type and the Report Name.
[ Insert ] Press this button to add a new report configuration.
[ Change ] Press this button to modify the highlighted report configuration.
[ Delete ] Press this button to remove the highlighted report configuration.
[ Print ] Press this button to print a listing of the names of all of the configured reports.
[ Close ] Press this button to close this window and return to the previous window.
[ Help ] Press this button (if available) or the F1 key to view the Help text for this window.
[ Clone ] Press this button to make a clone (copy) of an existing configured report. This Clone function can be very useful in situations where two or more configured financial reports are similar in design. This feature allows you to set up a configured report, make a clone of that report, and then edit the cloned report as needed. Cloning reports can reduce the amount of work it takes to set up a new configured report. For additional information, please refer to Clone Configured G/L Report.
