This option is used to modify or to print the Derived Tariff Mileage File. This file is automatically maintained by the Update Company Job - Other Tab - View button after the Miles field. However, if a mileage needs to be changed, this option must be used to change it.
The Derived Mileage Lookup Database contains point to point mileages for various Cities and States. This file is Derived from the actual shipments which you register into the system. Once a given origin City-State and destination City-State is used, the mileage can be added from within the "Other" tab, miles field, View Button in the program. Once this mileage has been added, it will be remembered for all subsequent shipments between that origin-destination location.

By Origin State Tab
Origin State: This is a locator field. Just type in the two character Postal Code for the state and the display will jump to this section of the file. If this field is highlighted, then press the Tab Key to display the closest match to the state in the display table.

Origin City: Type in the the Origin City and then press the Tab Key to display the closest match to the state in the display table.

[Delete] Press this button to remove the highlighted entry.
[Print] Press this button to produce a printed listing of the complete Derived Mileage File.
[Close] Press this button to close this window and return to the previous screen.
